Sadly we must postpone soccer photos. We will reschedule as soon as possible and send out a notice.
Soccer photos on June 10th are canceled.
Rescheduled – TBA
Rain or shine, the kids are expected to show up and play. If extreme rain brings thunder, then kids are still to show up as scheduled. However, if there is any lightning, then all practices/games are cancelled, no one is allowed to be on the field.
It’s always a great idea to inform your child’s coach if you are unable to make it to a session.
Players must wear shin guards and soccer shoes in all games – NO EXCEPTIONS. Do not put referees in the position of not allowing your child to play because they are not outfitted properly. Players should bring a water bottle to practices/games, and younger age groups may like to bring along a healthy snack.
Parents are required to remain on the opposite side of the field from the teams. No one is allowed behind the goal lines or goal area. Cheer and encourage our players in a positive manner. Teams and coaches are held responsible for the behavior of their fans, and coaches may be penalized for fan behavior.
Parents are encouraged to help at practice time. Please offer your services to your child’s coach. Carpooling to practices and games is encouraged.
No one likes negative comments after a loss. Please try to focus on the positive aspects of the game and your player’s performance. Let the coach identify the team’s weak spots at a subsequent practice.
KYSA shall support soccer players, coaches, referees and volunteers by providing appropriate programs and opportunities to help the individual achieve their potential, while employing the principals of ‘Fair Play’.
