What does a Divisional Manager Do?
- Meet with Coaches & Player Development Coordinator and Referee * Field Allocation Coordinator prior to season start up.
- Under the direction of the Coach & Player Development Coordinator, attends and supervises the team selection meeting for their division. Meeting will include coaches and KYSA President (or alternate Board Member)
- Will work with Coaches to ensure there is a balance between teams and will follow KYSA Draft Policy
- After consultation with Coach & Player Development Coordinator will make player movements if necessary
- Distributes information to the divisional teams. (Schedules, pictures, trophies, etc.)
- Will pick up equipment from Equipment Coordinator at the beginning of the season for the division and distribute to the coaches
- Will collect equipment from coaches at the end of the season and drop off to the Equipment Coordinator
- Under the direction of the Referee & Field Allocation Coordinator, will schedule game officials for their division
- Collects score sheets from game officials. Approved score sheets will be passed on to the treasurer for payment
- Acts as contact for all issues and questions from coaches or game officials in the division. Will advise and consult with Board on any issues in the division.
