All volunteer coaches must now take a coaching clinic, as per BC Soccer guidelines
Kitimat Youth Soccer Association (KYSA)
is an organization dedicated to the development and enjoyment of soccer by the youth in the area. We offer a mini program, a youth program and a district program. The organization is run by a volunteer board of directors, coaches and divisional managers.
The U5 (age 5) and U6 – U8 (ages 6-8) programs focus on fun, fundamentals and small sided games.
The U9 – U18 programs caters to players from the age of 9 to 18 years of age. The emphasis of fun, age specific drills and health competition remains for this group. Age groups are sometimes combined to ensure enough players and teams to make the program fun for everyone.
Kitimat Youth Soccer Association is dedicated to the promotion of Soccer in our community. We will strive to offer opportunities for all Kitimat children to play Soccer in the most nurturing and developmental program that we can create. We will promote fair play, sportsmanship and unity with all of our teams, coaches and officials.
